About The New Perspective
The New Perspective, Carroll University's student newspaper, is a wholly owned
entity of Carroll University, and is published every other Thursday during the academic
year, except during holidays, semester breaks, and exam periods.
The New Perspective strives to provide a suitable working and learning environment
for all Carroll University students interested in journalism, photography, layout,
advertising, and the graphic arts, conducive to personal fulfillment and advancement.
The New Perspective works hard to provide the Carroll community with a fair and
accurate presentation of all news pertinent to the community, following the standards,
cannons, and ethical guidelines of journalism as outlined by the Society of Professional
Journalists.
The New Perspective is written, edited, produced, and operated entirely by students
under the encouragement and advice of the faculty advisor, who is a Carroll University
employee. The New Perspective is published by CSI Printing, located in
Wisconsin.
The New Perspective is a member of the Associated Collegiate Press and the
Wisconsin Newspaper Association.
The New Perspective is a free newspaper to all tuition-paying students. Subscriptions are available
